Don’t you just love sappy love stories around Christmas! These 4 stories were such fun to read. I liked that they had real life situations for the couples to deal with. The writing on each story was excellent. There was no part in any of the stories where I was bored or not entertained.
I thought the authors did a good job of writing real to life characters. I especially liked that each story was short and ended with a plausible ending. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Christian romances set around Christmas time. (Irene Grove Irene's Christian Reviews 2013-10-25)
This was a nice collection of short stories. All of them had real life problems to deal with and centered around relationships and the Christmas season. They were also great Christian Romances with a deep connection to historical Mississippi. All four were well written and had believable endings. Completely recommended for fun, easy, reading for the holiday season.

About the Author
Sylvia Barnes thought after retiring early as a manager for BellSouth (now AT&T), she would sit on a swing and drink coffee. However, she opened a gift shop/tea room for three years, served as a part-time court clerk/deputy city clerk, and worked in her county’s after school enrichment program before finding a yellow pad on which she penned her first novel. Sylvia teaches a ladies’ Sunday school class and is active in many church activities. She and her husband, J. W., live in the country outside of Pelahatchie, Mississippi, with numerous dogs, cats, armadillos, and moles. They have two grown daughters and three grandchildren.
Lorraine Beatty is a multi-published, best-selling author. Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, she currently lives in Brandon, Mississippi with her husband of forty four years. Lorraine has written for trade books, newspapers and company newsletters. Lorraine has lived in various regions of the country as well as in Germany. She is a member of RWA, PAN, ACFW and is a charter member and former President of Magnolia State Romance Writers.
Cynthia Leavelle teaches English and ESL at Belhaven University in Jackson, Mississippi. A native of New Mexico, she has two degrees from the University of North Texas. She has published one book with Crossbooks, The Cord: The Love Story of Salmon and Rahab, and has written numerous devotionals and short stories. She has been married for more than thirty years and has three grown sons.
Virginia Vaughan was born and raised in Mississippi and has never strayed far beyond those borders. Blessed to come from a large Southern family, her fondest memories include listening to stories recounted by family and friends around the large dinner table. She was a lover of books even from a young age, devouring stories of romance, danger, and love. She soon started writing them herself. After marriage, two kids, and a divorce, Virginia realized her characters needed the same thing she needed—the healing grace and restoration power of Jesus Christ. Don’t you just love sappy love stories around Christmas! These 4 stories were such fun to read. I liked that they had real life situations for the couples to deal with. The writing on each story was excellent. There was no part in any of the stories where I was bored or not entertained. I gave this book 5/5 stars. I thought the authors did a good job of writing real to life characters. I especially liked that each story was short and ended with a plausible ending. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Christian romances set around Christmas time.

Yes, all the delightful places in Plantation Christmas Weddings do exist for real. The Mississippi plantation locations are so well described y'll'll be yearnin' to visit. All 4 authors should get a Natchez key to the city for creating such a heartwarming tribute to Natchez mansions' pasts, and dreamy Christmas décor. Included in each novella, tying them together like a red ribbon wrapped Christmas wreath, is Natchez, restaurants, the character Wreath Anderson, and all protagonist couples being Christian. You get 4 contemporary Christmas wedding stories but with an antebellum belle charm. 4 gifted Christian authors contribute to a book worth gifting, or gift you.
